Tumblr is being used by the Government to:

1)assign values to shit that doesn’t matter

2)create a more individualistic society 

3)to keep users indoors and feeling isolated {while also isolating others}

4)promote films/shows where there was a lot of money spent to create “Fandom”

5) ADD HERE……

The term ‘Brainwash’ to me always invokes images of being tyed down, of eyes taped open, being forced to take in info to change your way of behaving. In the real-world, brainwashing is any sort of manipulation without knowing. Whether be it altering a child’s favorite color or changing what a particular person values in their life simply through suggestion and saturation of their environment. All the while thinking that they initiated those beliefs, that they had the original idea without influence, well that the beauty of concept of “brainwashing.” I really cant offer a solution, just be aware that your thoughts, likes and interests may not be your own.

It’s sad to see where Tumblr is now from where it came from. It started as a place for individuals, where the unique and misunderstood [and possibly socially-awkward] could express themselves without rigicule from their peers. TODAY it is taken over by the film industry to shove GIFs down everyone’s throat to make it seem like these movies are “the shit.” This forced fandom is spinning out of control to the point that we are brainwashed without even knowing, and we continue to brainwash one another. I dont expect change and really cant offer a solution, just be aware that your thoughts, likes and interests may not be your own.
